Each volume in maroon leather with stamped decorative border, raised bands to the spines, the surface of the leathe on the spines is almost completely eroded leab=ving only traces of the titles, board edges rubbed, back board of vol. 2 detached. All volumes have been taped at the inner gutters to keep boards in place. Each has 2 ritle pages, one with an engraved vignette, the other plain, plus other full pasge engraved illustrations.
