Photo portrait frontispiece of Queen Victoria, by J.Russell & Sons, with tissue guard, 384 pages, + 16 page publisher's catalogue, 75 illustrations, many full-page, original publisher's blue vertical rib-grain cloth over boards, spine with gilt title in black panel and lilies of the valley blocked in white, front cover with gilt title and lilies of the valley blocked in white around an oval paste-on portrait of Queen Victoria. Floral patterned endpapers, all edges gilt. Size: 7.3/4" x 5.1/2". Fair. Much foxing to end papers and tanning to edges throughout. Two front end papers loose. Boards and especially spine much soiled.
