This copy by publisher Friedrich and Warne, dated 1949 (from Catalogue) is a lovely story with colous illustration and no pages loose (last blank page is missing, however). The dust jacket, although in a fair condition, has a small tear and slight discolouration.Valued by Auction house at £30 to £50, am willing to bring this down for a quick sale. Only one edition was ever published, according to my valuer. Peter Malin wrote this adventure story for young and adolescent boys. it is a ripping adventure.
