This is a first edition 1907 book from Escoffier "A Guide to Modern Cookery" it was given to me by my aunt years ago when I strated catering college.. It is a first edition very rare indeed as most of the books spent a lifetime in kitchens.. it is well used but still very firm to hold and fully intact. the cover is still on it but the spine has worn away see photos to follow
